Alessandra was born in Italy 47 years ago. She was raised watching her father painting in his studio in Rome. She spent most of her time admiring a man who created some amazing masterpieces just with his passion for art. He used to paint with ink, but she enjoys painting with acrylic colours. She started off decorating children’s bedrooms for close friends and family and quickly turned this into a very rewarding full time job. She is self-taught, but has also attended several courses in an art institute in Rome where she honed her skills with different painting techniques. Most of her work has been sold online around the world, but also she has taken part in several group exhibitions in Rome. She developed her style into abstract where she can express herself, each work of art reflecting her emotions. Now she lives in London, she moved here a few years ago with her daughter to start a new chapter of her personal and professional life in this city. Artistic vision: I have been creating a magical environment for children for many years, but to move forward in this field in London as a single mum is not easy. So I have created my own studio in my flat. It gives me many chances to dedicate every free moment to my passion. It makes me feel free, it is my time without time, I am painting following my mood, feelings and my energy slide on the canvas through my brushes. Each painting has its own story, it is my perception of the world in constant evolution. Art can be expressed in many ways, it is up to each of us to find our own.
